NaturaConnect: establishing the grounds for an effective European Biodiversity Policy

During the last week, the consortium of the NaturaConnect project has met in its kick off meeting. The challenges within the team are impressive given the wide scope of the planned approaches and deliverables.

The project aims to reshape the spatial structure of european landscapes such to provide more effective persistence means for biodiversity to endure in the face of land use and climatic dynamics. I am looking forward to put hands on and to involve myself with such an extraordinary team of experts on science communication, stackholder engagement, ecological economics, ecosystem services, biogeography, conservation and spatial planning... Expectatives are high!!!!
